unfinished Ghungroos

Unfinished Ghungroos

In the old city of Banaras, where the Ganga flowed and temple bells rang, lived Meera, a Kathak dancer. Dance was her life. Every time she tied her ghungroos and stepped onto the stage, it felt like magic.

One evening, she met Aryan, a poet who wrote verses by the river. He watched her dance, and she listened to his poetry. Slowly, love bloomed between them.

"You dance like poetry, Meera," Aryan said one night.

"And you write like music," she replied, smiling.

They never planned for the future; they just enjoyed the present. But one day, Aryan left—without a goodbye. All he left behind was a letter.

"Some love stories remain unfinished, like a song that never finds its end. But if you ever dance for me again, I will return."

Meera searched for him, but he was gone. Her feet still danced, but her heart felt empty.

Years passed. She became a famous dancer, but something was always missing.

Then, one evening, as she performed in Banaras, she felt a familiar presence. She looked into the crowd and saw Aryan. He had returned.

Their eyes met. But before she could say a word, he disappeared into the night.

Meera stood there, her ghungroos still echoing, her heart asking—was this truly the end, or just another pause in their story?
